One of my favourite things about using leather scraps is the limited edition aspect. I’m getting more sentimental personalisation these days especially as people love to give more personalised gifts.
These leather magnetic bookmarks make a great gift for the bookworms in your life. I made these as I like to take my book around with me and often found the bookmark falling out in my bag, spending precious commuting time trying to find the right page instead of getting right back in the story where I left off! It makes it especially special knowing that it is a limited edition, or maybe it’s just me romanticising it.
Grey seems to be a popular choice and I’m now on my fifth grey, each grey has been a different shade and paired with different suede colours, this newest rendition is a mottled steely light grey and I thought the combination of the ‘old lavender’ lilac purple suede was fitting.
Only six of these were made and have now all gone to new homes of book lovers.
