One thing I love doing in London is getting free tickets to watch a TV show being recorded. It’s fun seeing shows that you sometimes watch on TV live, I usually go to comedy panel shows. It’s completely free, I use Applause Store where you apply for tickets to shows you want to go to, from Q.I to Blind Date, X-factor, etc. You may not always get the tickets you apply for but hey it’s free. Also, the ticket does not guarantee entry as they tend to over-issue to cover no-shows, but it is on a first come first serve basis so get there early to avoid disappointment. There are tons of TV and radio shows and not just in London.
Shows that I have been to include Q.I, The Jonathan Ross Show, 8 out of 10 Cats, and Live at the Apollo.
So if you’re looking for a free/cheap night out (we went for some food afterwards), I’d highly recommend it especially as I get to see some of my favourite comedians in action!
